The long way to root-cause care.
Before Joe was a Doctor of Physical Therapy, he was an EMT, a firefighter, and a kinesiologist who spent over a decade learning what actually helps people heal — long before it became his license.
More than a decade in, long before the degree.
Certified Personal Trainer
Joe started where this all began — coaching people on movement and fitness, more than a decade before he ever held a PT license.
EMT Certified
Emergency medical training added a new lens: how the body responds under acute stress, and how often the system has no time to ask why.
Structure & Wildland Firefighter
Three years in fire service, seeing firsthand what the human body can endure — and what it costs to push through pain instead of addressing it.
Kinesiology Degree
Joe formalized years of hands-on coaching with a degree in exercise science, sharpening the foundation he'd already been building since 2012.
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Joe earned his DPT from Idaho State University, going on to become a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Dry Needling Certified — turning a decade of hands-on experience into a clinical license.
Root-Cause, Integrated Care
Joe combines orthopedic expertise with movement, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine — treating pain, fatigue, and stress as connected, not separate problems.
Joe's also a lifelong athlete — a state cross-country champion and collegiate pole-vaulter who's trained in everything from martial arts to mountain biking. Most of what he prescribes, he's tested on himself first.
